Great question! If you're looking for a one-time thing, check out the events page for upcoming volunteer opportunities. We're frequently looking for folks to help set up, sell Wildcat gear, serve food, and clean up at school and PTA events. If you're looking to be more involved, connect with someone on the inside for more consistent opportunities to help on the PTA Board and various committees.
Keep in mind, most events are going to require that you are registered to volunteer with PPS. Approval typically takes about 2-3 weeks.
We have PTA announcements in the school's weekly newsletter, post on social media, and occasionally send out more urgent communications through our individual mailing list.

The PTA has funding reserved for these groups to use toward events and social gatherings, but each group is organized independently. Reach out for more information on joining current groups, or starting a new one.
Many grades have independently created their own WhatsApp groups for their graduating class. Ask fellow parents or members of the PTA and we can help get you connected.
